A convenient 0.5L bag of premium Canadian Biochar, ideal for houseplants, pots, hanging baskets, small garden beds and home composting.

Silvachar Biochar helps improve soil structure, retain water and nutrients in the root zone, and provides porous habitat for beneficial soil microbes. Made in British Columbia from Canadian forest residues.

Approx. Coverage:
0.5–1 m² / 5–10 ft² of soil or garden area, depending on application.

Charge Before Use

For best results, charge Biochar with nutrients before adding it to your soil.

With Compost or Manure:
Mix 1 part Biochar with 9 parts compost or manure by volume. Keep the mixture moist and let it rest for approximately 3 weeks before application.

With Liquid Fertilizer or Compost Tea:
Mix 1 part Biochar with 1 part liquid fertilizer or compost tea by volume. Let it soak for up to 3 days, mixing occasionally as the Biochar absorbs the liquid.
